Refugees from Ukraine can use Swiss public transport for free until the end of May
Since 1st March, Ukrainian refugees have been able to use public transport for free to travel to their destinations in Switzerland or to travel through the country. The validity of the Alliance SwissPass is now being extended to all domestic journeys. Refugees who are taken in can travel by public transport for free until 31 May 2022 in Switzerland in 2nd class on all journeys within the Swiss travel pass network.

There is an app from SBB that makes booking tickets much easier by using the location services of your Phone the app automatically generates a valid ticket for your trip. All you need is an accepted payment method (e.g. credit card)
